"The artist expresses herself with the sources of our time.
A work sculpted with passion and love.
A magical and innovative adventure of inspiration and creation, unexplored explosions of color, with tenderness and sensitivity, possessing a distinctive expressive code.
Her works transcribe memories of urban landscapes, the sea, the earth, sand, and the sky. They are characterized by beautiful simple lines, in complete harmony, with soft and controlled touches of peaceful elegance.
A sensual fusion of light. Her artistic creation has multiple musical aspects.
The present is the confirmation of the lasting and purposeful nature of each creation by Giorgia Vitale".

"For painting intimately linked to the artist’s homeland, for a landscape expressed synthetically, through a sort of sensory, almost tactile, expressionism which evokes the current of sensory tactile expressionism".

-

"A watercolour in which, with few concrete signs and splendidly faint shades of dawn, the artist offers us an abstract scenic composition in which figures secretly appear to draw us back to a landscape."

-

"For a pictorial work with an atmosphere of suspended wait; like a poetic composition, it imbues the "reader" with vibrant emotions: a Painted-Poetry, a tale of poignant solitude in a winter night in the snow that the painter, even in her utmost synthesis, expresses through a technique functional to the atmospheres of the narration itself".

On reversible watercolors:"The technical expertise of Giorgia Vitale has achieved just that. There is a captivating duality in the works of Giorgia Vitale: reversible watercolours express, almost by magic, different contents and opposing and contrasting messages. Therefore, a dreamlike dimension pervades the works of this artist, musician, poetess, painter and sublime pianist. The music, with its perfect harmony, confers on her works the rhythmic balance of a musical score (right/left; high/low), a rhythmic balance that is both functional and confers a perfect harmony on the whole. Moreover, the uniqueness of the elegant and composite technique of the watercolourist is supported by a marked sensitivity and richness of content and themes, in particular, including against a social background, which contribute to the work, showcasing a particular magnificence and distinctiveness in the intentions of the artist and their concrete achievement. The peculiarity of Vitale’s watercolour can be seen in the fact that, by reversing the vision a hundred and eighty degrees, the contents, and thus also the messages, turn out to become opposites. This is, in a painting that tackles the difficult technique of watercolour (nearly impossible to correct), a complex process: beginning from the painter’s mind, her marked sensitivity and personal culture, achieving happy outcomes, bright and full of deep messages with contents and messages themselves reversible."

"The landscapes created by Giorgia Vitale in her solo exhibit are typically Mediterranean in inspiration with the unique radiance of our land warm and changeable atmospheres, created with the watercolour technique where the artist alternates between wet on wet and wet on dry, obtaining suggestive colour effects in which the careful observer can glimpse the introspective message which the artist wishes to communicate. There are clear references in Vitale’s work to impressionism which, in representing the Beauty of nature grasps its intimate essence in all its marvellous simplicity.”

"For Giorgia, colours are not only an essential component from a compositional perspective but, driven by a clear passion for impressionism with a few touches of the abstract, the painter uses colour as a means of communication. Shades of colour not only fill shapes but suggest guidelines for the careful and complete reading of a universal message: Beauty. In this sense, Giorgia's experience as a pianist is perfectly adapted to her work: the colours of the painting shown here act as notes capable of exhilarating (or perhaps rather ‘bewitching’) the soul of the observer. Giorgia Vitale’s works are certainly a reflection of the soul of the artist and, although born from the realism of landscapes, can lead the observer to a deeper analysis of the unconscious which is gradually revealed between the brush strokes.”

“Giorgia Vitale paints beautiful and suggestive landscapes that evoke harmony and balance. Seascapes, fields scorched by the sun, sunsets and flowers fill her paintings with a rich, varied pallet and frank, raw tones. Every element of the work forms part of a pleasing, rare and tasteful story. A story which showcases the great talent of this sensitive artist.”

On reversible watercolors:"Each stroke tells a story, that can be read differently when seen upside down, making every piece an evolving masterpiece. Art that flows like water."

On reversible watercolors:"Her dreamlike and ethereal, yet simultaneously powerful painting, which dives deeply into social aspects”.

"Searching for perfection in the colors, in the situation, in the moment captured, in the form, to go beyond the visible and arrive at a reflection: on Life, on Nature, on Beauty, between the brushstrokes giving new Light to the compositions. The paintings share the same shapes and colours, aiming to become unique holders of a more intimate and profound beauty, like that of the heart and the soul. Maximum expression of beauty, made fascinating by almost invisible minutiae and by everything that the human eye struggles to grasp."

"Giorgia Vitale is a young Sicilian artist, she brings us the figurative image of a sunset. It is not surprising that young artists in this era turn to the figurative despite there having been a century of abstract and surrealist art. Why do young people return to figurative art? They have captured an immediate reality to be discovered and explored, a reality that must make sense. In this painting by Giorgia Vitale we find a poetry and a romanticism that would seem to disappear in the reality we live in, but young people still have a beating and romantic heart."

On reversible watercolors: "The painter confirms a characteristic that belongs to great and beautiful Art of all times: the balance between emotion, though governed, and rationality, governed in its own time. And not without this modern turn of allowing space for doubt, evolution, the possibility of change, of rethinking."

On reversible watercolors: "Giorgia Vitale's art captures with the small, and it's unusual, this communication through very reduced formats. The painting makes you dream with very few elements, uncontrived and unsophisticated, like a straight line. Hers is an art that evokes hermetic poetry, the poetry of the fragment, of the little, of maximum synthesis. Despite the indicative elements being minimized, the observer can navigate from various parts and angles. Therefore, one can appreciate the preciousness and meticulous pursuit of the essence."

On reversible watercolors:"Let's close our eyes and imagine a painting with the image of a being carrying at arm's length a land full of color and relief against a background of rain signs. Then open your eyes and observe Giorgia Vitale's incredibly reversible painting. If you place it in reverse, the earth is a call to the sky, a freer dimension, a launching pad to the absolute. Born of creation, this watercolor has its own personality. Art is lived through the emotions of its creator, which transcend representation. When it's reversible, it doubles up to convey other emotions, sensations and states of mind. If you feel good about it, you'll prefer to position it in one direction, turning it around as situations dictate. This is not a canvas, nor the image of a canvas, it's much more than a canvas. The soul is reflected in the beauty of a look at a work of art that transcends it to the point of identification."

On reversible watercolors: "For her mastery in creating reversible watercolor paintings that transcend Italian borders and watercolorist traditions, and for her art of mutable transcendence with a dual face that urges the observers to deep reflection on the world and on themselves."
